Logic of naming actuators in VW-group is simple it contains "N" + actuator number. The actuator number is unique. Here you can find fitting location, connectors and some basic information about actuators.

To our mind, actuators information is reference, so there is only simple search by number.

Checking AC compressor regulating valve -N280

 

Display group number 001

 

Display zone 1

Specified current to activate AC compressor regulating valve -N280- in A (Amperes)

- The specified current is calculated by the Climatronic control unit -J255. The request is sent over the data bus system to the onboard power supply control unit -J519.

- The maximum control current consumption depends on the design of the Climatronic control unit -J255

- The AC compressor regulating valve -N280- is activated by the onboard power supply control unit -J519 - see Current Flow Diagrams, Electrical Fault-finding and Fitting Locations

J Activation of the AC compressor regulating valve -N280- is indicated in the measured value block of the onboard power supply control unit -J519- (address word 09 measured value block 34).

Actual current flowing via AC compressor regulating valve -N280-  in A (Amperes)

- The actual current is measured by the onboard power supply control unit -J519 and sent over the data bus system to the Climatronic control unit -J255.

J Activation of the AC compressor regulating valve -N280- is indicated in the measured value block of the onboard power supply control unit -J519- (address word 09 measured value block 34).

Pressure in refrigerant circuit in bar.

- The measured value of the refrigerant pressure and temperature sender -G395 is evaluated by the onboard power supply control unit -J519 and sent over the data bus system to the Climatronic control unit -J255 (see Current Flow Diagrams, Electrical Fault-finding and Fitting Locations).

J The measured values of the refrigerant pressure and temperature sender -G395- are indicated in the measured value block of the onboard power supply control unit -J519- (address word 09 measured value block 23). The displayed temperature value is currently not used by the Climatronic control unit -J255-.

 

Display group number 002

 

Display zone 1

Current valid compressor shut-off condition.

- If the readout is 0 the compressor is on.

 

Display zone 2 … 4

Last, last-but-one and third-last compressor shut-off condition.

 

Breakdown of compressor shut-off conditions in display group 002:
